Summer staycation scents!
As countries across the world begin to open their doors to the UK once again, it’s time to dust down the swimwear, buy some sun cream and decide which fragrance will be accompanying you on your trip. Whether you’re venturing abroad or enjoying a staycation, here are some of the (travel friendly) fragrances that I think you’ll love!
Eight & Bob 30mls with artisan leather case
I have a real love affair with this brand, there isn’t a fragrance in their collection that I don’t enjoy. First up we have Annicke 5 with its sticky sweet scent, perfect for a warm summer’s evening with notes of honey, plum, caramel and vanilla – good enough to eat! Next, we have the luscious green accords of Champs de Provence, instantly transporting you the French countryside, surrounded by orange blossom, pear, jasmine and rose. All 12 fragrances in the Eight & Bob collection are now available in a smaller 30ml size and in keeping with the brand’s effortlessly chic style, artisan leather cases have been produced to house your new scent – perfection!
French perfume house, Berdoues, takes its inspiration from various locations around the world meaning that you can have your travel hit even if it’s from the comfort of your own home. I particularly love Somei Yoshino EDP, which was created as an ode to the Yoshino Cherry Blossom trees in Japan – floral and delicious, this fragrance has notes of Japanese Shiso, Indian Jasmine Sambac and Indonesian Patchouli and makes for the perfect travel companion in its 10ml size. The bottles are so gorgeous and colourful, you’ll definitely want more than one - a welcome addition to any trip!
Little bottle, BIG fragrance! I love the idea behind this brand – taking the name of a 3-litre bottle of champagne and contrasting it with a 30ml size, housing a fragrance that well and truly packs a punch. I adore oriental fragrances so ‘Oriento’ instantly captured my attention - With rose oud, fresh lemon, ylang ylang and patchouli this scent transports you on a journey before you have even left! You know that feeling when you spray a fragrance and it instantly reminds you of a time or place? Well, the Jeroboam extraits are so beautifully long lasting and impactful that no matter where or when you wear it, you won’t ever forget it.
