Its rich, red stigma, hidden inside, three per flower, are carefully harvested by hand and sun dried to concentrate their precious aroma. It is the intensity of this luxurious note that is enhanced by an Indonesian oud to create Safran Rare, a very rare saffron perfume. Top notes of freesia, olibanum and rose geranium give way to a heart of cedarwood, saffron, Centifolia rose and Jasmin de Grasse before a warm, sensuous dry-down of benzoin, Indonesian oud, vetiver, sandalwood and vanilla rounds out this extraordinary fragrance.
