Spices and perfumes take a key role in Eastern society and scents with an Eastern origin arrived in the West thanks to the travelling Arab spice merchants. Les Eaux de l’Est trilogy is an olfactory tribute to the legends of the East. A seemingly infinite expanse of sand that appears barren sees the budding of a unique flower within its vastness, brought there on the whim of a hot, whipping desert wind. This Sand Flower, salty crystal petals baptized with dew, is the rare spice of this imaginary garden, the queen of the dunes forever nourished by its boldness. Its unique fragrance is equalled only by its rarity. Created by perfumer Amélie Bourgeois, Fleur de Sable has top notes of bergamot, water & salt, pink pepper and a wind note which then give way to a heart of eglantine rose, everlasting (sand) and paprika. A dry-down of black pepper, myrrh, orris and ambroxan rounds out this Mineral-Floral-Spicy unisex perfume.
