Rose essential oil, also known as attar, is made from the Damask Rose (Rosa damascene) or the Cabbage Rose (Rosa centifolia), and because the oil is so concentrated, it's diluted before it's used commercially. The petals of the rose contain its perfume, although some stamens can smell of musk or cloves, and it is normal that roses of the same variety don’t smell exactly alike, so scent isn’t always predictable.
Housed within a beautiful white bottle with pink touches, that symbolises the cheerful and happy moments in our lives, Extreme Rose from Louis Varel is a celebration of roses that starts out with top notes of orange, lemon and toffee. A heart of rose, patchouli oil and white woods gives way to a dry-down of amber and vanilla that rounds out this beautiful unisex Floral-Oriental eau de parfum.
