The design of the 200g candles encapsulates Matthew Williamson’s love of colour and patterns. Each glass jar is imported from France before being decorated in the UK, finished with a textured ikat pattern and a fabric label featuring the brand’s peacock and pineapple motif. Using a 100% cotton wick and a high quality mineral, soy and beeswax blend, the candles are hand-poured in the South West of England. The wax blend has been specially developed to give the best stability and performance, giving a burn time of approximately 48 hours. Traditional cottage gardens and meadows provide inspiration for this floral and fruit based English Garden candle. Top notes of bergamot, lemon, blackcurrant and aldehyde give way to a heart of rose alongside transparent floral, aquatic and green vegetal notes. Base notes of Ceylon tea, orange blossom, musk and powdery notes round out a Fresh-Fruity-Floral-Musk scent which was created by perfumer Serge de Oliveira, evoking the unique charm of an English garden.
